Who We Are

From a serendipitous beginning, we now are a group of 120+ members who gather semi-monthly from surrounding towns with the following missions in mind:

  • To teach and learn quilting techniques
  • To ensure the growth of quilting to future generations
  • To make hundreds of hand and machine made quilts which are donated to NH organizations that serve children and adults. See David's House and Child Advocacy Center.

During non-COVID

What's really special about our group is having fun and fellowship while we accomplish such good things together. We take our fellowship seriously, via carefully planned social activities such as our almost year-end get-together in September, a Christmas party, a "Soup-In" lunch in February and Tea in the Spring with Country Village Quilt Guild of Moultonborough (CVQG), and a delicious pot-luck picnic in June.

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday every month from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the First Congregational Church, 115 South Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH. See map for directions.

If meeting twice a month isn't enough for you, we also offer an evening session on the 1st, 3rd and 5th (if there is one) Tuesday of each month, from 6 to 9 pm, in addition to yet another daytime session from 10am to 2 pm (during the school year) every Monday.  Both of these sessions are held at the Community Center, 32 Lehner Street, Wolfeboro, NH. See map for directions.

During COVID--Take 2

Beginning 14 July and until further notice, we will be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, except for special meetings such as the Annual Luncheon. We will now meet at St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Alton. Hope to see you there.

During COVID--Take 1

We've had to made modifications due to COVID-19. We now use Zoom to meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month.

The Tuesday evening sessions have begun with a limit of ten members per session on a first come, first served basis. Contact SarahS via her email address to be included in the session.

Our Annual Picnic and Annual Luncheon has been held at MaryM's Estate, out in an open field. Everyone brings their own food, wears a mask, brings chair, sunbrella, etc.

Our Annual Christmas Party was cancelled in 2020, but will be reinstated in 2021.
